A lot of our pay monthly customers enjoy a price plan that includes 500MB of mobile internet use. That’s a lot of browsing – enough to download 25 Google Maps, read up to 8,300 BBC News stories and read and reply to a whopping 10,000 emails.

Tethering

Tethering means using your phone as a modem – great when you need to connect a laptop or netbook to the internet. If you’re on pay monthly and have a 3G phone, you may be able to use it for tethering.

You’ll need to connect your phone to your computer using a USB cable (or a special cable that comes with your phone) or via Bluetooth. You might also need to change your phones settings – look in your user manual for details.

How to get a tethering pack

It’s easy to add a tethering pack to your price plan. First, make sure you’ve either got mobile internet as part of your price plan or have one of our web packs
